The Eleventh Hour
The Eleventh Hour

Synopsis:

November, the 11th month, evokes the phrase "it's the eleventh hour," symbolizing last-minute actions or divine grace. This expression, rooted in the biblical Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, has evolved to denote urgency and crisis. Reflecting on this, I believe the Kingdom of God resides within us, offering redemption at the final moment. Astrologically, we're witnessing unprecedented events like the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries in 2026, marking a collective "reset" moment. This aligns with a rare mini-grand trine involving Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, echoing historical cycles that brought significant change, such as the Industrial Revolution and the time of Columbus.

Saturn, embodying social structures, contrasts with Neptune's boundaryless nature, challenging us to transcend material confines and embrace spiritual dimensions. Uranus, now in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius, herald revolutionary changes. Uranus disrupts with suddenness, while Pluto transforms through intense regeneration. The mini-grand trine, akin to a triangle in a band class, resonates with higher vibrations, urging us to cleanse perceptions and embrace transformation despite challenges.

Upcoming astrological events in November 2025 include Mars activating this trine, potentially igniting significant changes. Mars in Sagittarius embarks on a quest for truth, while Venus in Scorpio intensifies relationships. Uranus retrogrades into Taurus, revisiting themes of stability and materialism. The Sun's transition into Sagittarius aligns with seeking higher ideals and truth. As Mercury and Jupiter station retrograde, and Saturn and Mercury turn direct, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment in human history. The cosmic messengers urge us to awaken to interconnectedness, embrace challenges, and seek new paradigms. Our journey, a metaphorical mountain pilgrimage, calls for clarity, connection, and wisdom as we navigate this transformative era.

November is the 11th month of the year. As I pondered this year's journey thus far before sitting down to write this blog-- I heard in my mind multiple times the expression "it's the eleventh hour". This led me to research its origins. First, in its simplest translation these four words are meant to convey something at the very last possible moment — just before a deadline or when time is almost up. Further digging indicates that there is also a biblical connection. In what is known as The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard found in the Gospel of Matthew 20: 1-16 where a landowner hires laborers at different times throughout a 12-hour workday. Those hired “at the eleventh hour” — near the end of the day around 5 p.m. — receive the same pay as those who worked all day. Symbolically, this represented divine grace, showing that even those who come late into the spiritual fold receive equal reward in the Kingdom of Heaven. Spiritually, the eleventh hour became associated with divine mercy extended at the very last opportunity.

Over time, the phrase shed much of its overtly religious meaning and entered general English use. By the 19th century, “the eleventh hour” was commonly used idiomatically to refer to last-minute actions or rescues — moments when something is achieved just before it’s too late. It also began to evoke a sense of urgency, crisis, or reprieve, as in “a decision made at the eleventh hour.”

ree

From my own personal perspective, I am not expecting the Kingdom of God to suddenly appear or arrive. I hold the belief that its already here inside of us, hidden for many, awakened in some, but available to all. Metaphorically, the phrase also symbolizes the final chance to act before an ending — a spiritual or existential reminder that opportunities and redemption can come even when all seems lost. Thus, it bridges practical urgency with philosophical reflection on timing, redemption, and grace.

In previous blogs I have been highlighting (as have many other astrologers) the unique astrological events that are transpiring for us this year and next year. I have called these generational in nature, and in some cases they possibly have never occurred before. To name a few, the conjunction between Saturn and Neptune at 0 degrees of Aries is unprecedented. I have mentioned previously that when I researched this event what I was able to uncover was that although Saturn and Neptune have met in the sign of Aries before (notably in the early 1700s and sometimes in ancient eras), the precise meeting at 0°, considered the "Aries Point" and threshold of collective beginnings, has not happened in modern recorded history until 2026. This amplifies its significance for collective and mundane astrology as a "reset" moment.

Couple this with the mini triangle that is active between Uranus, Neptune (+Saturn), and Pluto which is also unique, and we have major generational energy sweeping through the global grasslands attempting to conjure up something new and different.

In my October Astrology Forecast I wrote:

We are currently being serenaded by an interesting chorus courtesy of the outer planets. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto have formed a powerful trio that is playing songs of upheaval, visions, and transformations designed to awaken something deep within humanity. It seems so fated, so seductive, and wholly unstoppable. What I am speaking of is the mini-grand trine (or triangle) between Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto is a rare and powerful astrological configuration that is active from around 2025 through 2028, with influences extending more broadly from 2022 to 2029. It forms through a combination of Uranus trine Pluto, Uranus sextile Neptune, and Neptune sextile Pluto, creating a "minor grand trine" or "talent triangle" pattern.

Historically, such a triangle (with Neptune at the midpoint of Uranus and Pluto) happens only a few times per century and Neptune midpoints occur once every 500 years. The last time Neptune was at the midpoint between Uranus and Pluto was in 1504. Previous notable cycles of these outer planets' alignments correlate with significant historical periods such as the Industrial Revolution (around 1741), the time of Columbus (around 1493), and the Mongol era (1246). There also were major cycles and highlights around 578-576 BCE, the Tang dynasty reunification period, and critical European and American revolutionary eras in the 19th century. This current alignment is considered the most positive and impactful planetary alignment in our lifetimes and the 21st century, offering great potentials for technological, cultural, and spiritual breakthroughs, especially impacting the first decan degrees of Aries, Gemini, and Aquarius.

I cannot emphasize enough the significance of these two overlapping astrological phenomena. What an incredible time to be alive and to witness the changes that are about to unfurl in our cosmic landscape. The alignment of these celestial bodies is not just a mere occurrence; it serves as a profound indicator of the transformative energies that are at play in the universe. Let me provide you with a very simple yet comprehensive summary that captures the essence of this extraordinary moment.

At the very heart of this remarkable triangular configuration, we find the planet Saturn, which embodies the principles of social structure, governance, and the frameworks that dictate our daily lives. Saturn represents the calendars and rules that govern society, the clocks that measure our time, and the necessary curtailment of action that often comes with responsibility. It is the planet associated with big business, labor, and the work ethic that drives economies. Saturn also signifies impediments and restrictions, materialism, and the political structures that can either uplift or oppress. It is the voice of authority, represented by popes and priests, and embodies themes of repression, severity, and submission. This planet is often seen as a taskmaster, enforcing tradition, ultra-conservatism, and a connection to the past—essentially, it represents "yesterday."

However, adding to the dramatic and dynamic nature of this astrological configuration is the co-presence of Neptune, which is in what astrology refers to as a conjunction with Saturn. This fascinating interplay between these two contrasting energies reaches its peak on February 20, 2026, marking a significant moment in our collective journey.

So, what does Neptune bring to this passionate and intricate dance with Saturn? Neptune could not be more energetically different from Saturn. While Saturn is grounded in the tangible and the temporal, representing the structure and limitations of our reality, Neptune transcends these boundaries. Neptune is not concerned with time; instead, it embodies the timeless and boundaryless nature of existence. Where Saturn erects walls and barriers, Neptune dissolves them, creating a space for fluidity and connection. Saturn is synonymous with traditional authoritarian rule, while Neptune encourages the formation of covert alliances that defy conventional norms. Saturn builds concrete statues of earthly kings, whereas Neptune communes with ethereal beings, such as angels and spirits.

Neptune is capricious and communal, serving as the vessel for dreams, visions, and idealism. When Saturn places boundaries around thought and action, Neptune urges us to expand our consciousness and explore the depths of our imagination. Neptune invites us to connect with our divine nature, seeking to transcend the material world and embrace the spiritual dimensions of existence. It encourages us to tune into our extrasensory perception and explore the hidden facets of life that often go unnoticed. In stark contrast, Saturn insists that earthly reality is all that exists and admonishes us to stay within the confines of societal norms, often with a stern warning akin to "Ethel, put your clothes back on!" Ultimately, while Saturn creates dogma and rigid structures, Neptune waxes philosophical, inviting us to question and explore the very nature of our beliefs and experiences.

At the base of this auspicious triangle sit two very significant agents of metamorphosis: Uranus and Pluto. It is crucial to recognize that all of these outer planets have recently undergone significant changes to the zodiacal signs they inhabit. Uranus has transitioned into Gemini, Neptune has moved into Aries, and Pluto has entered Aquarius. This shift in the zodiacal landscape is monumental in its implications and sets the stage for profound transformation. Let us begin by examining Uranus. This planet embodies the essence of revolutionary change, acting as a catalyst for upheaval and disruption that ultimately leads to breakthroughs and enlightenment. Uranus seeks reformation, challenging the status quo and expelling ideologies that have long since reached their expiration date.

Due to its association with electricity, earthquakes, and fireworks, the expectation is that events influenced or provoked by Uranus will possess a suddenness and explosive nature that is undeniable. This Uranian energy often manifests in the form of rebels, fanatics, and insurrectionists who challenge existing power structures. Ironically, this same energy can also appear in a higher form, represented by healers and visionaries who instill higher frequencies upon humanity as we collectively grapple with the chaos of transformation.

Next, we turn our attention to Pluto, the lord of rebirth, renewal, and regeneration. Pluto embodies an energy that is capable of both empowerment and disempowerment. When Pluto arrives on the scene, it is anything but subtle; its presence is felt with intensity and urgency. Pluto is often characterized as the abductor, sweeping away elements of our lives in the dark of night, much like a bandit with a purpose. What Pluto's sudden ambushes represent are covert blows to the psyche, designed to confront and crucify our shadows while simultaneously offering the opportunity to resurrect our souls anew. Pluto is the greater hunter, lurking in the shadows and meticulously planning when the moment is right for the guillotine of purification to be deployed. When Pluto's transformative ravages settle, a butterfly emerges from the chrysalis, flying gracefully toward the sun, liberated and transmuted into a new state of being.

Alchemically, let us delve deeper into the metaphor of your high school band class. Picture a scene where the atmosphere is charged with anticipation, and the room is filled with the collective energy of young musicians. Someone steps forward, confidently holding up a triangle, its polished surface gleaming under the stage lights. As they strike it with a metal beater, a piercing sound resonates through the air, cutting through the chatter and capturing everyone's attention at precisely the right moment. This striking moment serves as an impeccable metaphor for the previously mentioned mini-grand trine, which can be visualized as a harmonious triangle in the astrological chart above. A triangle, in this context, is not merely a geometric shape; it is a vital component of the percussion family, classified specifically as an idiophone. This classification indicates that it produces sound through the vibration of the instrument itself, rather than relying on strings, membranes, or the movement of air.

The purity of the sound emanating from the triangle is akin to the vibrations of the transpersonal planets, which are often seen as the purveyors of higher vibrations and spiritual insights. Ironically, as the sound from the triangle echoes in the ears of humanity, we are likely to experience a profound, guttural response that resonates deeply within us. This response may evoke a sense of collective remembering, a rekindling of awareness and understanding, much like the sentiments expressed by the esteemed English poet William Blake, who proclaimed, “If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.” Such clarity and insight, however, do not come without their challenges. One must anticipate some rain before the rainbow appears, symbolizing the tumultuous journey toward enlightenment. There is an inevitability to the process, akin to the ripping off of a Band-Aid, which can be painful yet necessary for healing.

During this transformative period, we find ourselves navigating the complex interplay of celestial energies. The probing desires of Neptune, representing dreams and the subconscious, are seeking resolution and understanding as they collide with the rigid thud of Saturn's gavel, embodying structure, discipline, and limitations. This dynamic tension is further intensified by the rebellious nature of Uranus, which seeks to provoke change and challenge the status quo, alongside the transformative and sometimes chaotic influence of gangster Pluto. Together, these planetary forces create an energetic whirlwind of change, compelling us to confront and embrace the shifts occurring both within ourselves and in the world around us. As we step into this vortex of transformation, we are invited to explore the depths of our perceptions and to emerge with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose.

From now until the exactness of the Saturn Neptune conjunction at 0 Aries on February 20, 2026, the components of this triangle are going to be moving around but remaining in what is known as a close orb to one another. Tapping into the imaginary scene portrayed above of the triangle instrument being struck and a siren like sound emanating from it, we find that during the month of November several faster moving planets will momentarily ping this epochal triad. Here are a few dates to watch:

  • Transit Mars trines Neptune - November 3, 2025

  • Transit Mars opposes Uranus - November 4, 2025

  • Transit Mars sextile Pluto - November 6, 2025

These transits by Mars in early November are worth noting. In astrology, the transit of Mars is considered an “activator” in astrology because its fast movement and energetic nature trigger the manifestation of aspects—especially those formed by the slow-moving outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto). At these moments, Mars transits are brief but dynamic, typically lasting only a few days as Mars moves swiftly through the zodiac. What they often stir up by an aspect (such as a conjunction, square, or opposition; and in this case sextiles and trines) to natal or transiting outer planets—or to the sensitive points defined by their longer, slow aspects—is the release, expression, and “activation” of energies into recognizable events or actions. Consequently, it is highly probable that during this short window we could see a period rich with events that are directly correlative with the afore discussed mini-grand trine.

Moving on to other astrological events taking place in November, there will be several planets changing zodiacal signs. Here are the changes occurring:

  • Mars moves into Sagittarius - November 4, 2025

  • Venus moves into Scorpio - November 6, 2025

  • Uranus Rx moves into Taurus - November 7, 2025

  • Mercury Rx moves into Scorpio - November 18, 2025

  • Sun moves into Sagittarius - November 21, 2025

  • Venus moves into Sagittarius - November 30, 2025

When Mars enters the zodiacal sign of Sagittarius, it embarks on a profound journey in search of meaning, truth, and the broader philosophical questions that life presents. This transit imbues actions with an adventurous and explorative energy, encouraging individuals to expand their horizons and embrace new experiences. The metaphorical net seems larger, capturing not just fleeting interests but deep, expansive desires that swell to encompass the vastness of the oceans. In this phase, Mars becomes a warrior for ideas, fiercely advocating for beliefs and principles with an intensity that can be both inspiring and overwhelming. The energy is electric, and risk-taking becomes an innate part of the pursuit; caution is often thrown to the wind as Mars charges ahead with determination and fervor. In this dynamic, Mars boldly declares, "I believe what I believe, and you should too," embodying a spirit of conviction that can lead to passionate debates and discussions. However, it is important to recognize that this fervor can sometimes alienate others, as those who may not share the same enthusiasm for these grand declarations often choose to take a wide route to avoid the unrestrained fervency of Mars in Sagittarius. On a more positive note, this placement also has the potential to inspire a broader-minded view, one that encourages individuals to consider the larger picture of humanity and the interconnectedness of all people. Mars will be in Sagittarius from November 4, 2025, through December 15, 2025, a period that promises to be rich with opportunities for exploration and philosophical inquiry.

Reflecting briefly on our astrological triangle, the entry of Mars into Sagittarius may serve as a significant clue to the developments that could emerge in early November. As Mars in Sagittarius embodies the role of the metal beater, striking the mini-grand trine of the collective consciousness, we may witness a surge of energy that catalyzes collective movements and ideas. This period could ignite discussions around social justice, freedom, and the quest for truth, as individuals feel emboldened to voice their beliefs and advocate for change.

On November 6, 2025, Venus will make her entrance into the deep waters of Scorpio. This is not a placement where Venus feels most at home; in fact, her usual affectionate, loving, and harmonious energies may feel scrutinized and challenged within the intense environment of Scorpio. As a result, Venus adopts a more assertive and demanding demeanor, becoming less willing to compromise or negotiate in her relationships. The polite chit-chat that typically characterizes Venusian interactions is replaced by a more direct approach—let's get to the core of the matter. In Scorpio, Venus approaches themes of money and wealth with a perspective that emphasizes shared resources, merging into a common pool without restriction. Intense relationships take center stage during this transit, viewed as opportunities for evolution and rejuvenation. Venus' motto in Scorpio could be encapsulated as "love is a battlefield," where emotional honesty and vulnerability are paramount. However, in its higher form, this energy can transform into “love as alchemy,” where the raw materials of emotional truth and authenticity melt away resistance, paving the way for deeper and truer connections. This transit will last for 24 days, concluding on November 30, 2025, when Venus will transition into the more optimistic sign of Sagittarius, bringing a shift in energy and focus.

On November 7, 2025, Uranus will retrograde back into Taurus, marking a significant moment as it retraces steps taken since its initial entry on May 15, 2018. This retrograde period invites us to reflect on the themes that have emerged during Uranus's journey through Taurus, which has included discussions around currency systems, agriculture, supply chains, and the evolving definitions of personal and collective security. As we experience Uranus venturing back into Taurus, we may witness a revival of these pressing themes, prompting society to reconsider how we approach stability and materialism in an ever-changing world. This retrograde represents Uranus' last hurrah in Taurus, at least for approximately 84 years, making it a time for significant reflection and potential transformation. When Uranus finally settles into Gemini on April 25, 2026, the revolutionary focus will shift markedly from the realms of stability and materialism to the domains of communication, networks, education, and technological symbiosis. This new phase will last for about seven to eight years, continuing until roughly 2033-2034, and is likely to usher in an era characterized by rapid advancements in how we connect, share information, and learn from one another.

On November 23, 2025, the Sun transitions into the zodiacal sign of Sagittarius, marking a significant shift in astrological energy. The astrological glyph for Sagittarius (♐︎) is a striking representation that features a stylized arrow pointing upward and to the right. This imagery symbolizes the archer’s bow and arrow, which is emblematic of the core essence of Sagittarius as the archer. This representation conveys the idea of aiming at higher ideals, lofty ambitions, and profound spiritual quests. The visual of aiming high resonates deeply with the vibrant energy associated with Sagittarius, embodying a spirit of optimism, expansive growth, and a thirst for unbridled adventure. As a mutable fire sign, Sagittarius is characterized by its ability to initiate creative endeavors while also possessing the flexibility to adapt and mold itself to new circumstances. Mutable signs, such as Sagittarius, signify the transitional periods between seasons, embodying qualities of adaptability, resilience, and the capacity to navigate through change with remarkable ease. Due to their inherent nature, they are often referred to as the "shape-shifters" or "chameleons" of the zodiac, showcasing an extraordinary ability to adjust quickly to new environments, perspectives, and situations.

ree

Sagittarius infuses the astrological archetypes with an infectious zeal and unwavering conviction. This sign embodies a buoyant and abundant belief system that inspires individuals to embark on a relentless search for meaning and truth, regardless of where it may lie. For some, this quest for understanding is found within the realms of religious affiliation, while others may seek it through various philosophical schools of thought, each yearning to unravel the mysteries of existence. If Sagittarius were to have a theme song, it would undoubtedly be "What's It All About, Alfie?", as it encapsulates the essence of seeking deeper understanding and connection.

The underlying motivation of Sagittarius is to find an altar of devotion, a sacred space where inspirational ceremonies can unfold, and a profound connection to higher principles can be established. Sagittarius serves as the womb that nurtures and spawns individuals who become priests, prophets, and professors, each contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and wisdom. There exists a compelling call to publish writings of intrinsic value, encompassing areas such as religion, law, and science, as well as a strong desire to teach these subjects to others. Moreover, the sign encourages long-distance voyages, which are often viewed not merely as physical journeys but as significant opportunities for higher learning and personal growth. These adventures are seen as pathways to broaden one’s horizons, enrich one’s understanding of the world, and foster a deeper connection with the universal truths that bind humanity together.

There are also a few planets stationing retrograde as well as direct during the month of November. They are as follows:

  • Mercury stations retrograde November 9, 2025

  • Jupiter stations retrograde November 11, 2025

  • Saturn stations direct November 27, 2025

  • Mercury stations direct November 29, 2025

Returning to the manner I opened this month's blog; we find ourselves seemingly in the eleventh hour of some significant chapter of human history. As we navigate through these tumultuous times, it becomes evident that turning points can often be both confusing and disconcerting. The landscape of our collective experience is dotted with challenges that demand our attention and action. There is no doubt a palpable sense of urgency moving like iridescent smoke among the populace, swirling around us, influencing our thoughts, emotions, and actions in ways that are both subtle and profound. The term "iridescent" itself carries a rich and vibrant history. It originates from the Latin word iris, which translates to "rainbow." This etymology is deeply intertwined with the mythology of the Greek goddess Iris, who personified the rainbow and served as the messenger of the gods. She was said to travel on a shimmering rainbow path, bridging the divine and the earthly realms. This origin reflects the beautiful, multicolored gleam associated with iridescence, suggesting that there is beauty even in chaos, and that within the swirling uncertainties of our time, there are glimmers of hope and transformation.

This is what I perceive the cosmic messengers are beaming into our collective consciousness. They are urging us to awaken to the possibilities that lie ahead, to recognize the interconnectedness of our experiences and the potential for growth that these turning points can offer. May we adjust the prism of our own perceptions, allowing us to see beyond the immediate challenges and fears, to discern what is truly needed in this pivotal moment. It is essential that we cultivate the wisdom to pursue the actions necessary for new understanding and the emergence of new paradigms—frameworks of thought and behavior that can elevate us to higher states of being and awareness. The mountain pilgrimage has begun, symbolizing the arduous yet transformative journey we must undertake. This pilgrimage is not merely a physical ascent but a metaphorical one, representing our quest for enlightenment, growth, and a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us. As we embark on this journey, we are called to embrace the challenges we face, to seek clarity amid confusion, and to harness the iridescent energy that surrounds us. With each step we take, let us be mindful of the lessons we learn, the connections we forge, and the wisdom we gain, as we collectively strive to reach new heights in our understanding of what it means to be human in this ever-evolving tapestry of existence.

Reminder: The new moon in Scorpio on November 20, 2025, will be examined as usual in my upcoming monthly blog, Lunar Promptings IX. My new moon blogs look at how the new moon is interacting with the Aries Ingress chart for the current astrological new year.
